Let me start off by saying, this well and truly may be the very last summer dress I’m going to be sporting with the turn in weather we’ve had here in the UK. From the hottest heat wave to grey skies, I am going to be honest – autumn is exciting me fashion wise. A lot of you may curse me for saying that, but hold your horses, and let me redeem myself a little by saying, I too hate the colder and gloomier weather, I’m all for the sun too! But…. I do love my knits and boots, so the thought of soon transitioning does make me excited for all the knits my eyes are going to be drooling upon.

The main reason I fell for this dress is obviously long flowy dresses are my favourite for summer, because A). Its one piece and your ready in a click of fingers. B). They’re just as comfortable as pyjamas and… C). When it has a neckline like this, how can you not fall for it?! Ruffles like these are to die for, I love how statement yet simple it is and the wide neckline is super flattering, I was a little skeptical that it may not be a comfortable neckline to wear, may come with some dropping down and all, but the elasticated neckline sits so perfectly to any shape. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate that it has pockets?! You know those super comfy big deep pockets that come in handy when you don’t know what to do with your hands, yeah those kind of pockets!! Got to admit though, I feel like running in a cornfield with a basket and straw-hat in this dress haha!

Whilst thinking about transitioning, I could actually picture some long boots or even some cute ankle boots and switching up to a leather belt and it may be the perfect long black dress for the cooler sunny days too! That’s the thing with the ‘LBD’ whether it is little, or long, they’re versatile as ever![/cap_text]
