Bamboo Bags & Prints

It’s probably no surprise seeing the title of this post and even this particular accessory in this post because bamboo bags are literally EVERYWHERE. And with that being said I just had to delve into nabbing one myself, because although the practicality of them is zilch, they do look a dream.

I couldn’t really persuade myself enough to the oh so famous Cult Gaia one’s with them being not so practical; I mean, you’ll definitely be dropping your bank cards out of these bags through the gaps as well as your belongings being slightly exposed, but that’s all fine I guess when a bag looks this good right? When I came across this very almost identical one from Asos, I had to grab it, it’s very much like the Cult Gaia – Gaia’s Ark bag at 1/3 of the price so it was a add to basket moment for me instantly.

There’s just something about these bamboo style bags that instantly just elevate any outfit. It’s minimal, yet daring and chic at the same time. Definitely an accessory you can turn to if you have a minimal outfit and want that little umph and even a conversation starter. The more natural bamboo coloured one’s are very idyllic for the holidays – paired with a straw hat, and you can’t go wrong! I feel like I need a holiday just so I can wear the above combination now.

With my polka dot obsession still evolving I’ve found myself loving prints that are within a similar concept but with a twist. I absolutely love this type of print that’s dotted but a little more abstract; such a sophisticated design and can very much be dressed up or down. For a dressier option, I opted with a satin cowl neck cami – these are just a perfect basic right now, literally go with everything and looks very ‘put together’.[/cap_text]

  1. Animal prints are the move this fall and I loved how you paired it with this bag. It helps contrast the print but also give a wild jungle vibe.
