A real grab and go shoe that looks chic but also keeps your feet comfy – can’t go wrong!
I know, it’s no surprise I’m posting about flats again, a true go to shoe in my wardrobe, I pair them with literally everything, jeans, trousers, dresses, you name it. A real grab and go shoe that looks chic but also keeps your feet comfy – can’t go wrong! And of course, completely transeasonal, apart from winter when those boots have to come out.
Autumn really saw a spike in Mary Janes everywhere, I love it when a classic becomes a ‘trend’ and then it just continues to stay around forever. I’ve been seeing so many variations since, the classic ballerinas have also had some real minimal styles come through and it’s got me really looking forward to spring and warmer days. One style of ballerina in particular I’m really eager to add to my wardrobe, which I don’t own, is the super square toe with the block kind of shape at the front, basically a robust version of an actual ballerina shoe. The Aeyde pair (no.7 in the edit) are the kind I mean, there’s just something about the juxtaposition of the soft classic ballerina shape with the chunky solid block toe, I love the minimal contrast.

With that, I thought I’d curate what’s available and out right now if you’ve been searching for something similar, these are all styles I’ve seen and instantly swooned over. They would all work and style up so well in any wardrobe, the pointy one’s are a dream to take into evening if you have a day to night situation.
So, if you’re not much a of a heel wearer like myself, then you’re in for a treat with these picks. There’s a real mix of toes variations as well colour ways, be sure to check each style out for different colour options if you’ve been on the hunt for something in particular.
