Autumnal Tones & Leopard Print

Leopard print – you know it was coming. It’s everywhere like a growing virus, tops, dresses, skirts, bags, shoes, cami’s, you can literally buy any piece in the print, and trust me, I’m not complaining! If I could own everything in leopard print I so would. And the best thing about it – it’s always going to look fab, it’s such a timeless print.

Well into autumn wardrobe mode now, I thought I’d share what I’ve found myself to be steering towards the most so far. Being quiet a monochrome devotee I’ve surprised myself as I’ve been eyeing all the brown and rust toned pieces – which I NEVER thought would happen. There’s just something about all the rusty colours, whether that’s a beautiful dress or a knit; they scream autumn at its finest and look chic at the same time.

I almost feel like I’ve been so consumed into a monochrome palette that I’ve felt like a scared child going to school for the first time about adding more tones to my wardrobe. With what was just a duet of colour in my wardrobe, I now have a new love for all the warmer tones. And if I’m honest, I’m quiet proud of myself haha!

Browns and rusts paired with leopard print of some type has become a real favorite. Something quiet simple like this shirt dress paired with leopard print really gives an effortless chic look to an outfit and pieces like shoes or a bag in the print is quiet a handy way of introducing the print into any wardrobe if it’s a little over whelming for you.

Im currently on the search for the perfect neutral brown long line coat to add into my wardrobe; I love the idea of layering all different neutral tones and browns into one outfit, it always looks extremely put together but doesn’t look like your trying too hard. I’m all for that look!

Love this rust color dress on you! I can’t believe it’s from ASOS. It’s beautiful and I totally understand the fear of stepping outside your comfort zone but you’ve done it wonderfully. xo
