Every time I’ve worn this blazer and shared it on socials, an influx of messages follows of what size I’m wearing and more details on the fit & feel. So, it only felt right to pick this dream of a blazer as the next ‘style focus’ piece.
I haven’t stopped wearing it since I added it to my wardrobe; it smartens up a jeans and basic top combo instantly allowing you to make 0 effort and look so put together which is always a win. And of course, with the matching trousers (on my wishlist btw) or a beautiful maxi skirt, you’re ready for an evening situ. It’s honestly the dream blazer to have and hold!
The sculpted shape isn’t too exaggerated making it super comfy and the slouch on the shoulders gives just the perfect amount of effortless-ness. There’s two concealed popper buttons which give a really minimal and clean silhouette perfect for that day to night transition, with minimal faff. With spacious pockets too, the smooth wool is a beautiful medium to heavy weight which is what feels so amazing on, like a beautifully tailored hug!
The quality is incredible and it’s that piece that instantly makes you feel your best, the ultimate power blazer! It’s classic pieces like these that will stand the test of time in wardrobes and get so so much cost per wear.
For sizing I wear it in an 8, and it has enough room for knitwear if you want to style it up in the cooler months with the perfect amount of shape. I’d recommend going for your usual size.
However, as we know of the situation with Matches at the moment which is really upsetting, the blazer is currently on sale. So fab to get some discount for sure but you’ll have to put it on your wishlists as sizes are coming and going.
I’ve put together a selection of similar blazers if you’re in the market for this kind of style but aren’t managing to get your hands on the Raey number. The sculpted style for sure is a super versatile twist on a classic blazer for adding that little bit of something different but still timeless.
