In this instalment of Style Focus I had to steer towards my two pairs of flats which I haven’t stopped pairing with every outfit.
I don’t stop mentioning my love for pointy and square toes, and whenever this square duo in particular is featured, there’s always questions on where they’re from, so I had to get them documented here!
Being someone who can’t walk in heels to save their life, the perfect square and pointy flat shoe are real hard-working pairs in my wardrobe. A pointy toe instantly elongates the legs without any effort at all, and elevates any simple classic look with a sophisticated detail. I love reaching for the square when I want to add a little minimal edge to my outfit, I find the square cut off gives that really clean aesthetic to any kind of outfit.

Now, this particular square toe pair I have from Massimo Dutti have been the one’s to ALWAYS raise compliments every time I wear them – which is almost 4/5 times a week, they’re worn a lot! They’re the easiest to slide on and off and the strap makes them really comfortable for not slipping off. And the points are from Charles and Keith which I think aren’t available at the moment. But I’ve put together a selection of pairs below of similar styles which would all style up perfectly too.
The points are my secret hack for evening occasions for when I can’t wear heels to dress up a look, I grab these making sure I have longer length bottoms for a bit of ‘puddling’ and it instantly looks like I have pointy heels on as the bottom of the jeans pool over the shoes hiding that they’re flat!
