But all is not lost, I’ve been seeing a lot of ‘crafted print’ type of florals making their way into all the autumn clothing; one in particular is the H&M x Morris & Co collection, the prints are just beautiful and so exquisite, not the usual garish florals but instead; a mix of craft, paisley, nature and a true feeling of timelessness. This couldn’t be a more perfect version of florals to add to my wardrobe; with all the brown and muted tones and a subtler floral mixed with patterns is just perfect for me, so if your one that has steered away from floral print then this style may be something you could experiment with to add some detail into your autumn wardrobe.
Personally I always tend to grab for a print when I don’t have the mental capacity to think through an outfit and I’d rather be slumped on the sofa watching an episode of Gogglebox munching some quorn nuggets in a snuggly onesie – they are life, of course until you need to go to the toilet it’s a different story. Prints just instantly give character and make you look like you know what your doing and have your styling A game on without having to actually use your brain too much, cause lets face it, a printed dress, jacket & boots and there you go! So for me a couple of prints in a capsule wardrobe can be a helpful hand.
